PÖFF is hosting the first-ever Industry Days for aspiring children and youth filmmakers this November
Together with the Just Film Festival, Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event introduces Just Film Industry Days designed for film professionals and industry experts. The event will be the first of its kind in Northern-Europe and will take place on the 14th and 15th of November in Tallinn, coinciding with the festival and Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event.
“We have long needed such an event, which will host industry talks, workshops, and works-in-progress for children and youth projects in this region, hence the launch of this year's Just Film Industry Days in November,” commented Mikk Granström, Head of Just Film Festival.
Attendees can look forward to a range of engaging sessions, workshops, and thought-provoking panels, designed to inspire and empower filmmakers to reach new heights of creativity. The event promises a captivating exploration of the future of film and its profound influence on young audiences. Just Film Works in Progress section will present five youth and children's film projects. In addition to the dynamic content, attendees will have unique opportunities to network with industry professionals.
Kärt Väinola, the coordinator of Just Film Industry Days, said, "We are beyond excited to start Just Film’s very own industry days! We hope to bring like-minded film professionals from all over the world to Tallinn to discuss all things film but also this year’s main topics - profound impact of AI, education, and new media on the film industry.”
Just Film Industry Days takes place during the Industry@Tallin and Baltic Event at 27th Black Nights Film Festival. Just Film Youth and Children's Film Festival takes place from November 3-19 and is the largest youth and children's film festival in Northern Europe and is one of the sub-festivals of the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival.
Accreditation for Just Film Industry Days and Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event are now open. Early bird prices are valid until 1st of September.
